This is the BAC (ferry boat) leaving Basse Indre returning to La Montagne on the opposite shore of The Loire.
A good selection of olives, I love the smell....
Some street entertainment...
The walk along the river...
And finally, if in doubt, have a Muscadet, off the back of a van of course!!
Hi Swan! I want to mention how perfect it was to receive a phone call from you while I was in Paris. It most certainly added to the memories of my vacation. I'll also add that I found myself in tears yesterday when the taxi arrived to return us to the airport.
ReplyDeleteMuscadet was consumed everyday while taking a load-off from sight-seeing and shopping. It was the first time I had it.
Sending much love to you, Swan!
Peace,
Lynn xo
It was lovely to talk to you too, it seemed so natural to do so too!
ReplyDeleteSo glad you had a great time. I have asked a contact of mine there to give me some pointers for you in terms of housing, work and language I hope she will get back to me, there is so much available, that sometimes it can be difficult to see the wood for the trees, she is the editor of Expatica, Claire Whitmer, the web site is http://www.expatica.com/actual/toc.asp?subchannel_id=25
Take care and lots of love Swanxxx
Natural is exactly the word, Swan. I feel the same way.
ReplyDeleteI am so moved by your desire to help me. It truly is so special. Thank you Swan. I will take a look at Claire Whitmer's site. I'm having a jet-lag situation right now, hmmm.... would love NOT to be feeling this way. ;-)
Many hugs,
Lynn xo
