MILLION DOLLAR BABY, no not the Clint Eastwood film, but a funky new children's shop for 0-6 year olds. You can find funky, chic, funny, playful and avant garde clothing and toys here. Not the usual french 'baby' offering. Having spoken to the owner she told me that she buys her products from all over the world and it shows.
Then there's la Petite Epicerie, a great little Epicerie with a cafe integrated. You can hire the upstairs room for private breakfast, tea, or dinner parties by arrangement, and the downstairs cafe has a lovely ambience too, sitting amongst the fine, beautifully packaged products on sale.
There's a great antique shop just opposite the chateau entrance where I found this little lady...
Enbarqu'a Terre, sells Equitable produce and has some lovely products made by small producers around the world, made in natural fabrics and materials whilst caring for the planet.
Dames de 11 heures. Another gift shop which I didn't get time to take a look inside it was very busy! Which I presumed was a good sign. It but looked like it had some interesting gifts and jewellery.
And another shop with some lovely jewellery. This shop also has a space which you can hire out for small exhibitions.
And finally, the walk would not be complete with a pic of this bar with a really stupid name...
