Chateau de Brissac, Anjou is the tallest Chateau in France and each year it holds a Christmas Market.
"A fairytale atmosphere and amazing Christmas decorations await the visitor to Chateau de Brissac. Prices Adults 8 euros 50 and children 2-12 1 euro.
Another unique Christmas event is the Christmas Market underground at the Chateau de Brézé, 8 and 9 December 2012.
Held in the underground fortress, there will be around 50 stalls selling their regional Christmas specialities, whether artistic, delicious foods.
Father Christmas will be there for the children along with other animations such as story-telling, pony rides.

My local Christmas Fair at Basse Goulaine is always great for those little stocking fillers and delicious local foods... except last year, when I was strongly encouraged by a stallholder to eat a cracker with some supposedly delicious snail pate which made me feel really sick! That's one local product I won't be buying this year!
